Rocli Learning Academy is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and creative Lead Learning Guide to support neurodivergent learners at our Roswell headquarters.

Rocli is a small, specialized learning environment designed for children who may not thrive in a traditional classroom. Our learners have a wide range of academic, communication, developmental, sensory, and support needs. Some students may be verbal, minimally verbal, or use AAC devices, and students may be working at different academic levels within the same learning group.

Our Lead Learning Guide helps create a structured, encouraging environment while providing individualized and small-group academic instruction.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead small-group and individualized learning activities

  • Implement Rocli's academic programming using tools such as IXL, hands-on curriculum materials, and individualized learning plans

  • Modify lessons and activities based on each student's academic and developmental needs

  • Support students with communication, transitions, social interaction, regulation, and independence throughout the learning day

  • Maintain a calm, structured, welcoming learning environment

  • Track student progress and communicate observations to Rocli leadership

  • Help prepare learning activities, materials, and student work

  • Collaborate with Assistant Learning Guides and other Rocli team members

  • Work collaboratively with ABA therapists or other support professionals who may accompany students during the school day

  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with families

  • Help maintain an organized, safe, and engaging classroom environment

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate is someone who understands that every child learns differently and is comfortable adjusting instruction rather than expecting every student to follow the same path.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred:

  • Special education

  • Elementary or early childhood education

  • Autism support

  • Neurodivergent learners

  • Homeschool or alternative education

  • ABA or therapeutic learning environments

  • Individualized instruction or tutoring

  • AAC or alternative communication

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children required

  • Experience working with neurodivergent learners strongly preferred

  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work with students at different academic and developmental levels

  • Patient, dependable, flexible, and comfortable thinking creatively

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate with families, educators, therapists, and support professionals

  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check

Why Rocli?

At Rocli, we intentionally keep our learning environment small so our Guides can actually know their students.

This isn't about standing in front of a large classroom and expecting every child to complete the same assignment at the same pace. Our Guides have the opportunity to individualize instruction, celebrate meaningful progress, collaborate with families and therapists, and help create a learning experience that works for each child.

If you believe education should adapt to the learner — not the other way around — we'd love to hear from you.
